made a quick little comic bc none of the depression comics i see on tumblr really match what i feel
depression feels like this never ending ache in my chest that sometimes alleviates but never really goes away for a long while
and i’m fully functional when it happens even tho i feel like crying or sleeping all the time. i still eat, interact, and sleep well, and no one is any wiser about it
depression is an illness and sometimes it’s more invisible than people think. it’s not always about being unable to get out of bed or not eating and all that - it’s far more insidious when you really think about it
